Can I read my dossiers offline?
Yes. Once a purchase settles, the dossier is stored in an encrypted container on your device and remains fully readable offline. You keep permanent access on your verified account.
What is the watermark in my purchases?
Every dossier carries an invisible forensic watermark tied to your account. It does not affect your reading experience — it exists so that, if material is ever leaked or shared, the copy can be traced. It protects the creator whose work you bought. Read more in our

Can I get a refund?
Dossiers are digital goods delivered instantly, so they are generally non-refundable. As an exception, we'll review requests made within 48 hours where the material was materially misdescribed or technically inaccessible. Write to

How are creators verified?
Every creator completes identity verification through DigiLocker and must substantiate the rank or qualification they claim before listing a single page. When you buy, you know exactly whose merit you are acquiring.
How is my data kept private?
Sensitive data is encrypted with AES-256, and keys live in the iOS Keychain, excluded from backups. We collect only what the marketplace needs and never sell your data. You can request access or deletion at any time under the DPDP Act.
A purchase didn't go through — what now?
Transactions on MeritVault are atomic: payment and delivery settle together, so a failed payment never leaves you charged without access. If your account shows a charge without the dossier, contact
support@meritvault.app with your transaction reference and we'll resolve it.
Does my reading progress sync?
Yes. Your reading position, bookmarks and study targets sync securely across the devices signed in to your account, so you always pick up where you left off.
